Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Muhsin Peykan started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Romeo Arseni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Telesmani's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FCSB the free kick. 2 minutes into the game, one of Telesmani:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 4th minute there was a penalty for FCSB. Muhsin Peykan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving George Bivolaru. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Pușcariu in the 8th minute of play forced FCSB's goalkeeper Alex Dinu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Alexandru Hortopan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Telesmani fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 13 minutes, Iordache Nichitelea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Telesmani and the FCSB players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, Iordache Nichitelea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Șerban Musceleanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nechifor Sorin lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 18 minutes into the game, one of Telesmani:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Muhsin Peykan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Alexandru Hortopan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ionuț Vergulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the game, Telesmani's Ionuț Vergulescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Dinu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Telesmani's Ionuț Vergulescu managed to work through FCSB's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ionuț Vergulescu dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 41 minutes into the match, Cristian Homescu notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Telesmani's George Bivolaru. George Bivolaru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Cristian Homescu put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of George Bivolaru. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ionuț Vergulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Alex Dinu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Șerban Musceleanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Bivolaru having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Ionel Mergea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. George Bivolaru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. George Bivolaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionel Mergea, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The supporters of Telesmani booed when FCSB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionel Mergea didn't get a good kick on the ball. When FCSB's Muhsin Peykan in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muhsin Peykan in the 82nd minute of play forced Telesmani's goalkeeper George Bivolaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FCSB's Cristian Homescu got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Telesmani's zone, Ionel Mergea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. George Bivolaru came out of the goal and Ionel Mergea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94thth minute of the game Ionel Mergea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Telesmani's George Bivolaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Telesmani players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FCSB.
