Vasile Chiriac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Iurie Daimacă was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Edgar Bunoaică came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Leo F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Bunoaică couldn't finish the play. With 31 minutes on the clock, Dorel Cupșa commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 32nd minute, Dorel Cupșa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Codruț Grămescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aron Popeangă hit a great ball. Petre Răduța scored 3-4 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dorel Achifoaiei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
