In the 15th minute Alex Melinte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Ignătoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bohoghina CSM's Dorin Ţugui got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manuel Bordeianu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Manuel Bordeianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Ignătoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Bordeianu in the 24th minute of the match. Remus Chiriță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gelu Opriș having to interfere. Emanuel Ignătoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Bordeianu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Dorin Ţugui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bohoghina CSM's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorin Ţugui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gelu Opriș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Remus Chiriță came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Bohoghina CSM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remus Chiriță couldn't finish the play. Dorin Ţugui hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 40th match minute, Bohoghina CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Băncilă to maneuver through the defense. Răzvan Ciucă charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Răzvan Ciucă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Răzvan Ciucă kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Paul Balint took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emanuel Ignătoiu. Bohoghina CSM's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Dorin Ţugui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Bordeianu to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Manuel Bordeianu rounded Bohoghina CSM's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Bordeianu in the 55th minute of play forced Bohoghina CSM's goalkeeper Emanuel Ignătoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pavel Astafiei during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Bohoghina CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Astafiei to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Manuel Bordeianu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puini's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Bordeianu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Puini's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Melinte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th play minute Alex Melinte came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emanuel Ignătoiu. 0-2. Dorin Ţugui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gelu Opriș having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Bordeianu in the 79th minute of play forced Bohoghina CSM's goalkeeper Emanuel Ignătoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Ignătoiu made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Alex Melinte sent off a good shot on target. Gelu Opriș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorin Ţugui in the 95th minute of play. The Puini players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
