After 8 minutes, Marcu Chivulescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuceu and the FIBREXNylon Piatra Neamt players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Cuceu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcu Chivulescu to maneuver through the defense. Cuceu's Marcu Chivulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laurențiu Hizo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudiu Lupescu in the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Claudiu Lupescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ionuț Crețu fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FIBREXNylon Piatra Neamt's protests and gave Ionuț Crețu a yellow card for diving instead. Ionuț Crețu hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The supporters of Cuceu booed when FIBREXNylon Piatra Neamt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moise Biriș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Laurențiu Hizo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Laurențiu Hizo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Lupescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. A hard shot by Aurelian Minteuan from long distance, 36 minutes into the match, got Laurențiu Hizo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 36 minutes, Cristinel Comarnescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FIBREXNylon Piatra Neamt and the Cuceu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristinel Comarnescu hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Isac Isăceanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Laurențiu Hizo made a huge save. If Horaţiu Voitiş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Laurențiu Hizo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudiu Lupescu in the 54th minute of the match. When Iurie Constantiniu fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FIBREXNylon Piatra Neamt's protests and gave Iurie Constantiniu a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in FIBREXNylon Piatra Neamt fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Cuceu. Cristi Andronescu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Laurențiu Hizo. 2-0. Isac Isăceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Laurențiu Hizo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudiu Lupescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, Claudiu Lupescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laurențiu Hizo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Claudiu Lupescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laurențiu Hizo having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Claudiu Lupescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laurențiu Hizo was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 83rd match minute, FIBREXNylon Piatra Neamt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionuț Crețu to maneuver through the defense. After 85 minutes of play, Cuceu's Claudiu Lupescu made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laurențiu Hizo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Cuceu's Marcu Coșmeanu got a free kick in the 88th minute. Tudor Mușătescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cezar Drăgan having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Cuceu got a freekick which was hit by Vintilă Marioteanu. In the 95th minute of the match Iurie Constantiniu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cezar Drăgan skillfully saved the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cuceu had played much better football throughout.
