Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Costel Ciorănescu started the match with the kick off. Riciu's Cornel Leluțiu got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicodim Leu kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Riciu's Iulian Zbârcea broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Mihăiţă Voina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Iustinian Urdăreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panait Sitaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costel Ciorănescu in the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, FC RACM MD's goal looked a bit too open when Cornel Leluțiu came free, but Panait Sitaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC RACM MD were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Riciu's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mihnea Magheran took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC RACM MD's corner Maxim Crăcană fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iustinian Urdăreanu quite easily take care of the ball. Panait Sitaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costel Ciorănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 32 played minutes, FC RACM MD's Lucrețiu Răzvan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iustinian Urdăreanu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC RACM MD reached it. Panait Sitaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Ciorănescu in the 38th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costel Ciorănescu in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Panait Sitaru saved FC RACM MD from getting behind. 43 minutes into the match, FC RACM MD's goal looked a bit too open when Cornel Leluțiu came free, but Panait Sitaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panait Sitaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornel Leluțiu in the 44th minute of the match. Iustinian Urdăreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihăiţă Voina, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mihăiţă Voina to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Cornel Leluțiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Drâmbă in the 54th minute of play forced Riciu's goalkeeper Iustinian Urdăreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Costel Ciorănescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Panait Sitaru was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 79th minute, Cornel Leluțiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Riciu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Cornel Leluțiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iustinian Urdăreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihăiţă Voina in the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC RACM MD's goalkeeper Panait Sitaru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Riciu's Daniel Jumancă shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 89th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Panait Sitaru but with some difficulty. Riciu's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
