The supporters of Fc steaua booed when LOYAL TM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iosif Bocu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodor Bulcă got free with Manole Paraschiv in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 15 in the game by Teodor Bulcă from a close distance when the talented Manole Paraschiv managed to make a qualified save. Fc steaua's players were relieved. David Mincă came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc steaua's Emanuel Isărescu. But to his dismay, Emanuel Isărescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 21 minutes into the match, Nicodim Cârlan notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of LOYAL TM's David Mincă. David Mincă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felix Gorjanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. David Mincă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute Stelian Floruțiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Mincă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nicodim Cârlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil Dulfu struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. David Mincă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc steaua. David Mincă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Isărescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nicodim Cârlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sorin Fetea to make the kick off. When Fc steaua's Stelian Floruțiu in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LOYAL TM's goalie prevented a goal. In the 55th play minute Stelian Floruțiu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised David Mincă. 0-5. Teodor Bulcă hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Emil Dulfu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Manole Homeag got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Mincă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Dulfu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basarab Mitică charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basarab Mitică the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Fc steaua's Basarab Mitică got a free kick in the 67th minute. When Virgil Dincă fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LOYAL TM's protests and gave Virgil Dincă a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stelian Floruțiu in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Mincă saved LOYAL TM from getting behind. Stelian Floruțiu took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Mincă. David Mincă dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. With a little luck, LOYAL TM's David Mincă got control of the ball when Stelian Floruțiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Mincă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Dulfu in the 95th minute of the match. Stelian Floruțiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fc steaua's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
