Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Manuel Irimia made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Ionuț Şunda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barbulesti SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ionuț Şunda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pompiliu Hrușcă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel Irimia charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Irimia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Barbulesti SC booed when Socola FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Irimia didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ionuț Şunda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ionuț Şunda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horea Stroia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Pompiliu Hrușcă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcu Stegaru during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute, one of Barbulesti SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Barbulesti SC. The referee gave Socola FC a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gavril Urmaticu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Barbulesti SC's Eusebiu Avădanei. 1-0. If Ionuț Şunda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eusebiu Avădanei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vintilă Mitrea in the 31st minute. After 34 played minutes Socola FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciprian Ciocâltea. Socola FC's Pompiliu Hrușcă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionuț Şunda in the 38th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Horea Stroia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barbulesti SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Horea Stroia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pompiliu Hrușcă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. George Ologu hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horea Stroia was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Socola FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Aurelian Dulca hit a great ball. In the 58th play minute Ionuț Şunda came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pompiliu Hrușcă. 1-1. Pompiliu Hrușcă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ionuț Şunda in the 61st minute. In the 71st minute, one of Barbulesti SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Barbulesti SC. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Socola FC. Gavril Urmaticu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eusebiu Avădanei. 2-1. 95 minutes into the match, Barbulesti SC's Luca Curteanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pompiliu Hrușcă narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Socola FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Barbulesti SC for much of the match.
