Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Costel Lupulescu got the match started through his kick off. When Cristi Zafiu came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the FC CFR Cluj fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristi Zafiu couldn't finish the play. In the 5th play minute Gheorghe Orescu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Moise Macri. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Hulubei in the 11th minute of play forced FC CFR Cluj's goalkeeper Eusebiu Pârvan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costel Lupulescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the match, FC CFR Cluj's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Hulubei came free, but Eusebiu Pârvan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Costel Lupulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebiu Pârvan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moise Macri didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 23rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC CFR Cluj's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Romeo Bărnuțiu was slow to take the kick. During this time Husasau's players had a chance to rest. Viorel Panait thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Eusebiu Pârvan, a very annoying self made goal in the 30th minute which led to 2-2. When Gheorghe Orescu came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the FC CFR Cluj fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gheorghe Orescu couldn't finish the play. Eric Gruia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

53 minutes into the match, Husasau's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Orescu came free, but Moise Macri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, FC CFR Cluj's goalkeeper Eusebiu Pârvan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iustin Hulubei. Eusebiu Pârvan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costel Lupulescu in the 83rd minute of the match. Iustin Hulubeis short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Eusebiu Pârvan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Gheorghe Orescu came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the FC CFR Cluj fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gheorghe Orescu couldn't finish the play. Gheorghe Orescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Moise Macri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusebiu Pârvan made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Iustin Hulubei sent off a good shot on target. Radu Melinescu's late challenge caught a Husasau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radu Melinescu helped the player get up and apologised. After 97 played minutes FC CFR Cluj got a freekick which was hit by Radu Melinescu. Husasau's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
