Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aron Dărăscu got the match started through his kick off. Cătălin Şteflea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nechifor Aplugăriței in the 4th minute of the match. If Nechifor Aplugăriței had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, FC VIDELE's goalkeeper Cătălin Şteflea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gigi Blaj. 9 minutes into the game, Aurel Zgondea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC VIDELE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oțelul Galați the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC VIDELE's Aurel Zgondea got a free kick in the 9th minute. Ciprian Mardare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Dărăscu in the 11th minute of the match. Aron Dărăscu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nechifor Aplugăriței received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Cătălin Şteflea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nechifor Aplugăriței during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nechifor Aplugăriței kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Oțelul Galați:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC VIDELE:s goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC VIDELE's zone, Nechifor Aplugăriței stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cătălin Şteflea came out of the goal and Nechifor Aplugăriței tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aron Dărăscu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciprian Mardare read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After 35 played minutes FC VIDELE got a freekick which was hit by Aron Dărăscu. Oțelul Galați's Ciprian Mardare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mădălin Istrătescu in the 41st minute of play. In the 46th minute of the match Marin Rainea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cătălin Şteflea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. FC VIDELE's Mădălin Istrătescu got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Oțelul Galați players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC VIDELE were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nechifor Aplugăriței stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigi Blaj in the 52nd minute of play forced FC VIDELE's goalkeeper Cătălin Şteflea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cătălin Şteflea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nechifor Aplugăriței went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Aron Dărăscu took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Ciprian Mardare to make any attempt to save it. In the 64th minute, Bogdan Sava hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gigi Blaj struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Cătălin Şteflea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oțelul Galați. If Aron Dărăscu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 played minutes Oțelul Galați got a freekick which was hit by Nechifor Petrea. Aron Dărăscu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Mardare having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nechifor Aplugăriței in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cătălin Şteflea saved FC VIDELE from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Nechifor Aplugăriței's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cătălin Şteflea was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Nechifor Aplugăriței scored 2-2 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cătălin Şteflea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
