Octavian Tatulici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandru Ciocâltea in the 74th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Nae Păvăloae put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Matei Manu. FC Boteni made a substitution. Mihail Corduneanu replaced Călin Iovulescu. After some careless play in the FC Boteni defense, Nae Păvăloae kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matei Manu. The FC Boteni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matei Manu should have stopped the shot. Nae Păvăloae who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Matei Manu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nae Păvăloae in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
