Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ovidiu Trifănucă made the kick off and thus started the match. Marian Chiuzbaian came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Jegheriste's Ovidiu Trifănucă. But to his dismay, Ovidiu Trifănucă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Gelu Corduneanu fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jegheriste's protests and gave Gelu Corduneanu a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes Jegheriste got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Corduneanu. Marian Chiuzbaian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidiu Trifănucă in the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Kadnacs SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Ciucă came free, but Marian Chiuzbaian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Ionică Cerchez notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Jegheriste's Ioan Avram. Ioan Avram was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ovidiu Trifănucă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Chiuzbaian having to interfere. Marian Chiuzbaian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Ciucă in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Jegheriste's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ionică Cerchez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Silviu Mușetescu put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Kadnacs SC's Dorin Moșanu got a free kick in the 44th minute. After the first half Jegheriste were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vintilă Burghelea to strike the kick off in the second half. Ioan Avram took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vintilă Burghelea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marian Chiuzbaian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezar Târcă, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When Vintilă Burghelea came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Kadnacs SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vintilă Burghelea couldn't finish the play. Ioan Avram showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionel Ciorănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute of the match Panait Receanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ioan Avram skillfully saved the ball. Dorin Moșanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jegheriste's Ioan Avram played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vintilă Burghelea in the 68th minute of play. Ferdinand Ciucă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Marian Chiuzbaian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marian Chiuzbaian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidiu Trifănucă, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, Kadnacs SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidiu Trifănucă came free, but Marian Chiuzbaian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes of play, Jegheriste's Gelu Corduneanu made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marian Chiuzbaian was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jegheriste's Ioan Avram played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vintilă Burghelea in the 79th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Vintilă Burghelea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vintilă Burghelea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gelu Corduneanu hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Jegheriste's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
