With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emil Costăchescu in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iustinian Bebeșel saved Edilchioi AFC from getting behind. Codruț Ţipirig struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Iustinian Bebeșel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Temisoara AFC. When Cosmin Rada fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Temisoara AFC's protests and gave Cosmin Rada a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Cosmin Rada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th match minute, Edilchioi AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Stana to maneuver through the defense. Iustinian Bebeșel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Codruț Ţipirig in the 18th minute. A collision led to Edilchioi AFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Irinel Iurașcu hit a great ball. If Iulian Pantiș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Emil Costăchescu made a precise shot to the right of Iustinian Bebeșel. Edilchioi AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Irinel Iurașcu kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Moise Zmărăndache sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Edilchioi AFC's Iustinian Bebeșel didn't even have to move. Edilchioi AFC's Iustinian Bebeșel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Edilchioi AFC from getting a goal against them. Temisoara AFC's Cristinel Andronache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iulian Pantiș in the 44th minute of play. Iulian Pantiș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emil Costăchescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iulian Pantiș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristinel Andronache having to interfere. 60 minutes into the game, Augustin Crișan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Temisoara AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Edilchioi AFC the free kick. A collision led to Temisoara AFC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Augustin Crișan hit a great ball. Tiberiu Bojin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosmin Rada hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Tiberiu Bojin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Temisoara AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Codruț Ţipirig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iustinian Bebeșel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iustinian Bebeșel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Costăchescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Edilchioi AFC's goalkeeper Iustinian Bebeșel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iustinian Bebeșel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Costăchescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Augustin Crișan took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iustinian Bebeșel. Iustinian Bebeșel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Temisoara AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Edilchioi AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
