Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Irinel Enișteanu started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Mardalele SC's goal looked a bit too open when Irinel Enișteanu came free, but Calistrat Herlea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vintilă Pascu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Octavian Mascovescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silviu Racoviță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vintilă Pascu in the 17th minute of the match. The Coveiul fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Coveiul's Irinel Enișteanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 31 minutes, Irinel Enișteanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coveiul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Irinel Enișteanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Coveiul booed when Mardalele SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavian Greavu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Albescu struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Calistrat Herlea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coveiul. Marian Ghimiș kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Mardalele SC's Calistrat Herlea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Albescu in the 38th minute of play. Vintilă Pascu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silviu Racoviță having to interfere. Octavian Mascovescus short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Silviu Racoviță to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Silviu Racoviță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vintilă Pascu in the 44th minute of play. The Mardalele SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Coveiul were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vintilă Pascu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Coveiul's Irinel Enișteanu in the 52nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Calistrat Herlea was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Mardalele SC through an amazing save. Silviu Racoviță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vintilă Pascu in the 63rd minute of the match.
