After a rather tough play, Paiuseni's Petrică Bucuță got a free kick in the 2nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Tache in the 5th minute of play forced Praxia's goalkeeper Costică Ciupe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristinel Marincean's late challenge caught a Paiuseni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristinel Marincean helped the player get up and apologised. Cristinel Marincean hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Praxia's Costică Ciupe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iacob Vâlcu in the 7th minute of play. Costică Ciupe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iacob Vâlcu in the 8th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iacob Vâlcu in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Costică Ciupe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Praxia getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Dragoş Roșeanu hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iacob Vâlcu in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Costică Ciupe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Costică Ciupe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Tache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Tache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Edgar Manafu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Praxia's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Manafu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dacian Gurzău breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgar Logofeteanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacian Gurzău having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgar Logofeteanu made a kick off. If Emil Tache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 59th minute of the match Cristinel Marincean completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cristinel Marincean a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Cristinel Marincean kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. A collision led to Praxia getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Octav Bădiță hit a great ball. In the 71st minute Iacob Vâlcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costică Ciupe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emil Tache's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Costică Ciupe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Praxia's Edgar Logofeteanu got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgar Manafu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacian Gurzău having to interfere. Paiuseni's Emil Tache got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
