The supporters of Zoicarul booed when Iernuteni UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristi Balc didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Iernuteni UFC's Olimpiu Coraș slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Șerban Armanca. That made the score 1-1 after 22 minutes of play. Aristide Ştefănescu kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, Iernuteni UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristide Ştefănescu to maneuver through the defense. Doru Slătineanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codruț Gâlcă in the 27th minute of play. Iernuteni UFC's Doru Slătineanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gelu Juverdeanu in the 28th minute of play. Aristide Ştefănescu kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Codruț Gâlcă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doru Slătineanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Codruț Gâlcă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doru Slătineanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gelu Juverdeanu's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olimpiu Coraș made a kick off. Codruț Gâlcă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doru Slătineanu having to interfere. After some careless play in the Zoicarul defense, Olimpiu Coraș kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Șerban Armanca. The Zoicarul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Șerban Armanca should have stopped the shot. Victor Moșanu kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Codruț Gâlcă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Doru Slătineanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gelu Juverdeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gelu Juverdeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute Cezar Hrib shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Șerban Armanca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Iernuteni UFC's zone, Gelu Juverdeanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doru Slătineanu came out of the goal and Gelu Juverdeanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Codruț Gâlcă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Doru Slătineanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Șerban Armanca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cezar Hrib's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. If Cezar Hrib had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zoicarul's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
