Tudor Panin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nae Constantiniu having to interfere. Ionică Burtea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Corneliu Aluneanu went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Itcani getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Marcu Năsturel hit a great ball. If Costică Berbec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ionică Burtea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristinel Stănilă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd match minute, Itcani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Boaru to maneuver through the defense. Tudor Panin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Nae Constantiniu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costică Berbec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nae Constantiniu having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, Itcani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Boaru to maneuver through the defense. Nae Constantiniu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Panin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tudor Panin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Stănilă in the 54th minute of play forced F.C. APULUM's goalkeeper Ionică Burtea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nechifor Nicorici during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of F.C. APULUM booed when Itcani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nechifor Nicorici didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tudor Panin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nae Constantiniu having to interfere. When Costică Berbec came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the F.C. APULUM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costică Berbec couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the game, Corneliu Aluneanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itcani's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. APULUM the free kick. After a rather tough play, Itcani's Corneliu Aluneanu got a free kick in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Itcani's zone, Tudor Panin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nae Constantiniu came out of the goal and Tudor Panin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the match, Costică Berbec notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Itcani's Nae Constantiniu. Nae Constantiniu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Costică Berbec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mugurel Amuguroancei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Nae Constantiniu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tudor Panin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nae Constantiniu having to make a save. F.C. APULUM were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
