Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Olimpiu Coraș took the kick off in the first half of the match. Eliodor Popilean's late challenge caught a Iernuteni UFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliodor Popilean helped the player get up and apologised. Eliodor Popilean hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 7th match minute, Iernuteni UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Moșanu to maneuver through the defense. Tudor Panin had several of the Iernuteni UFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Doru Slătineanu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Doru Slătineanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Panin in the 17th minute of play. After having played for 19 minutes, Costică Berbec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. APULUM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Costică Berbec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aristide Ştefănescu hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When Costică Berbec came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the F.C. APULUM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costică Berbec couldn't finish the play. Tudor Panin might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Doru Slătineanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tudor Panin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 29th minute, Eliodor Popilean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, F.C. APULUM's Mugurel Amuguroancei dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. 34 minutes into the match, Iernuteni UFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tudor Panin came free, but Doru Slătineanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Calistrat Jușcă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iernuteni UFC's Olimpiu Coraș got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Iernuteni UFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Aristide Ştefănescu hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Tudor Panin made the kick off in the second half. Costică Berbec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of F.C. APULUM booed when Iernuteni UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calistrat Jușcă didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Costică Berbec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugurel Amuguroancei in the 62nd minute of play forced Iernuteni UFC's goalkeeper Doru Slătineanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ionică Burtea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezar Hrib, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Costică Berbec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Victor Moșanu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. In the 81st match minute, Iernuteni UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Moșanu to maneuver through the defense. Tudor Panin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doru Slătineanu having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Gică Antim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Iernuteni UFC booed when F.C. APULUM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugurel Amuguroancei didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Costică Berbec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. F.C. APULUM's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
