Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) F.C Târgoviște's Toader Căplescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Sarighial's goal looked a bit too open when Toader Căplescu came free, but Mihăiţă Papadima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Basarab Cotoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Sarighial's Corneliu Cupșa got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 12 played minutes, F.C Târgoviște's Ionel Iorgu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mihăiţă Papadima came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in F.C Târgoviște reached it. Eugen Iosub kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihai Honcioiu in the 21st minute of play forced F.C Târgoviște's goalkeeper Valentin Baciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihăiţă Papadima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toader Căplescu in the 23rd minute of the match. If Basarab Cotoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Elisei succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 29th playminute. Valentin Baciu came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Sarighial's Mihai Honcioiu. But to his dismay, Mihai Honcioiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 47 minutes into the match, Sarighial's goalkeeper Mihăiţă Papadima had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eric Elisei. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basarab Cotoi made a kick off. Mihai Honcioiu scored 2-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valentin Baciu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Sarighial's Corneliu Cupșa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valentin Baciu. That made the score 2-3 after 59 minutes of play. 70 minutes into the match, Sarighial's Basarab Cotoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valentin Baciu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mihai Honcioiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to F.C Târgoviște getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Toader Băncilă hit a great ball. Basarab Cotoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Valentin Baciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. F.C Târgoviște's Toader Căplescu got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihai Honcioiu in the 82nd minute of play forced F.C Târgoviște's goalkeeper Valentin Baciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sarighial's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ionel Iorgu was slow to take the kick. During this time F.C Târgoviște's players had a chance to rest. Iurie Băbescu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 87th minute of the match Silviu Nanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mihăiţă Papadima skillfully saved the ball. Toader Căplescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mihai Honcioiu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Valentin Baciu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sarighial had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
