In the 5th minute, Sandu Şteţ made a precise shot to the right of Iustinian Mureșan. Fotinu AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. FC SANATATEA's Sandu Şteţ got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iustinian Isaia got free with Thaddeus Routhier in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to FC SANATATEA getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ionuț Amânaloae hit a great ball. Iustinian Isaia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thaddeus Routhier having to interfere. Thaddeus Routhier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Horia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sandu Şteţ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thaddeus Routhier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Horia, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Eliodor Călimanescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Iustinian Mureșan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC SANATATEA's Thaddeus Routhier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Horia in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Sever Ionășescu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Fotinu AFC's Iustinian Mureșan. Iustinian Mureșan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Eliodor Călimanescu came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the FC SANATATEA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliodor Călimanescu couldn't finish the play. Eliodor Călimanescu struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Iustinian Mureșan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC SANATATEA. FC SANATATEA's Dacian Ghiorman was substituted for Tudor Ivan. After the first half FC SANATATEA were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Horia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thaddeus Routhier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustinian Isaia in the 54th minute of the match. Thaddeus Routhier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustinian Isaia in the 59th minute of play. Thaddeus Routhier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iustinian Isaia's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. When Fotinu AFC's Iustinian Isaia in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The tension between the Fotinu AFC and the FC SANATATEA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mihnea Paulescu during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of FC SANATATEA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fotinu AFC:s goal. Thaddeus Routhier had in the 93rdth minute some difficulties stopping Gelu Dragota's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Gelu Dragota cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Thaddeus Routhier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 100 played minutes FC SANATATEA got a freekick which was hit by Sever Ionășescu. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC SANATATEA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
