The referee ignored FC SANATATEA's protests and gave Matei Frâncu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Centurion Lions booed when FC SANATATEA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matei Frâncu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Leonard Pivniceru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Centurion Lions's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonard Pivniceru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thaddeus Routhier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th match minute, FC SANATATEA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihnea Paulescu to maneuver through the defense. Leonard Pivniceru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Thaddeus Routhier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute Vasile Muntian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thaddeus Routhier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihnea Paulescu hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Sabin Hârtopanu kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Sever Ionășescus short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Felix Acatincăi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sever Ionășescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 33 played minutes Centurion Lions got a freekick which was hit by Sergiu Bîlbă. Felix Acatincăi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliodor Călimanescu in the 36th minute. Eliodor Călimanescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Acatincăi having to interfere. Sandu Şteţ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Acatincăi having to interfere. Eliodor Călimanescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Acatincăi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliodor Călimanescu ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Centurion Lions's zone, Sever Ionășescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Acatincăi came out of the goal and Sever Ionășescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vasile Muntian was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC SANATATEA's Ionuț Amânaloae got a free kick in the 65th minute. With a little luck, FC SANATATEA's Thaddeus Routhier got control of the ball when Leonard Pivniceru tried to sneak it across the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Costică Dragomir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC SANATATEA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Centurion Lions the free kick. A collision led to FC SANATATEA getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Costică Dragomir hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Centurion Lions's zone, Eliodor Călimanescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Acatincăi came out of the goal and Eliodor Călimanescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Centurion Lions's goalkeeper Felix Acatincăi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Eliodor Călimanescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliodor Călimanescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Felix Acatincăi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 minutes, Tudor Druță mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC SANATATEA and the Centurion Lions players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Centurion Lions booed when FC SANATATEA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tudor Druță didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FC SANATATEA's Ionuț Amânaloae got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Vasile Muntian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Centurion Lions succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though FC SANATATEA had controlled the match.
