Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eliodor Călimanescu made the kick off which started today's match. After 8 minutes, Matei Frâncu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC SANATATEA and the Steaua FCSB players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Matei Frâncu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th match minute, Steaua FCSB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Spiridon to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Sandu Şteţ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19thth minute of the game Mircea Bărbătescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC SANATATEA's Thaddeus Routhier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thaddeus Routhier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Spiridon in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, FC SANATATEA's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Spiridon came free, but Thaddeus Routhier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thaddeus Routhier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mircea Bărbătescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sever Ionășescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Costică Diaconescu having to make a save. If Eliodor Călimanescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC SANATATEA were furious when Marcel Tudoran was red carded, 34 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC SANATATEA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Thaddeus Routhier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentin Mangra went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Sergiu Pelin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Thaddeus Routhier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC SANATATEA's Sever Ionășescu got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

FC SANATATEA's Costică Dragomir was substituted for Matei Frâncu. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sergiu Pelin was the one to do the kick off. Sandu Şteţ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Costică Diaconescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FC SANATATEA getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Sandu Şteţ hit a great ball. Sever Ionășescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costică Diaconescu having to interfere. Dinu Tecău charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dinu Tecău the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dinu Tecău hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sever Ionășescu in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Costică Diaconescu saved Steaua FCSB from getting behind. In the 62nd match minute, Steaua FCSB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Ghițescu to maneuver through the defense. Sever Ionășescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Costică Diaconescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute Sergiu Pelin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thaddeus Routhier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Ionașcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Thaddeus Routhier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Spiridon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sergiu Pelin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thaddeus Routhier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Thaddeus Routhier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergiu Pelin in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC SANATATEA's Ivan Pintea got a free kick in the 90th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Ghițescu during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes Steaua FCSB got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Ghițescu. The Steaua FCSB supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Steaua FCSB would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
