Gabriel Trifu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Șerban Mușat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Baba booed when fc.mishu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nistor Remus didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Moise Spoială had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Iacob Şuplăcan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 22 minutes had been played. Codruț Roșeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alin Teodoroiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Gabriel Trifu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moise Spoială in the 75th minute. After some careless play in the fc.mishu defense, Moise Spoială kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Trifu. The fc.mishu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Trifu should have stopped the shot. Baba's Moise Spoială got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. fc.mishu's Gabriel Trifu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save fc.mishu from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see fc.mishu lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
