Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Horea Cucerdean made the kick off which started today's match. Augustin Săndoi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Teodor Nacu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 7 minutes, Mădălin Şoimaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schiaul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mădălin Şoimaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Leonides Poz came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Schiaul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Poz couldn't finish the play. Leontin Buzincu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Teodor Nacu made a huge save. Leonides Poz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Tudor Petcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eusebiu Muraru came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the FC POLITEHNICA TIMISOARA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebiu Muraru couldn't finish the play. Teodor Nacu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leontin Buzincu in the 24th minute of the match. Eusebiu Muraru scored 1-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodor Nacu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 30 played minutes FC POLITEHNICA TIMISOARA got a freekick which was hit by Eusebiu Muraru. Teodor Nacu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustin Săndoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Mădălin Şoimaru struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Tudor Petcu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schiaul. In the 46th match minute, FC POLITEHNICA TIMISOARA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Dănănae to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leontin Buzincu to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, FC POLITEHNICA TIMISOARA's Tudor Petcu got control of the ball when Mădălin Şoimaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicu Boieru kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute of the match Adam Tuleiu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teodor Nacu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Schiaul's goal looked a bit too open when Leontin Buzincu came free, but Teodor Nacu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basarab Mitruț kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Eusebiu Muraru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodor Nacu having to interfere. After having played for 71 minutes, Leontin Buzincu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 85 played minutes FC POLITEHNICA TIMISOARA got a freekick which was hit by Ionuț Băncilă. If Leonides Poz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horea Cucerdean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Many of Schiaul's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Schiaul may have spent more time on the ball, but FC POLITEHNICA TIMISOARA were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
