In the 12th minute, Leonard Pantelimon made a precise shot to the right of Răzvan Mălăncioiu. Jupanu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Jupanu's zone, Leonard Pantelimon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Răzvan Mălăncioiu came out of the goal and Leonard Pantelimon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, Ernest Săvescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Răzvan Mălăncioiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Bivolaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Jupanu's goalkeeper Răzvan Mălăncioiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonard Pantelimon. When Costin Bivolaru came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Balauseri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costin Bivolaru couldn't finish the play. After 30 played minutes Jupanu got a freekick which was hit by Călin Mereuță. Manole Popete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cătălin Iorgovan made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manole Popete got free with Nae Scorţea in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cătălin Iorgovan in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nae Scorţea saved Balauseri from getting behind. Răzvan Mălăncioiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonard Pantelimon went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Manole Popete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nae Scorţea having to interfere. Răzvan Mălăncioiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Pantelimon, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Manole Popete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nae Scorţea having to interfere. Leonard Pantelimon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Costin Bivolaru took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Răzvan Mălăncioiu. Răzvan Mălăncioiu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Răzvan Mălăncioiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonard Pantelimon went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Răzvan Mălăncioiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Bivolaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 98 minutes into the match, Balauseri's Costin Bivolaru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Răzvan Mălăncioiu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Balauseri players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
