Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Anton Negru made the kick off which started today's match. Bogdan Teodor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Răzvan Spirea in the 3rd minute of the match. Liberty FC's Răzvan Spirea got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Manuel Baciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Răzvan Spirea in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bogdan Teodor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th minute, Liberty FC's Răzvan Spirea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Laurențiu Mercescu kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Spirea in the 15th minute of play forced FC Baia Mare's goalkeeper Bogdan Teodor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The attack was good, but when Răzvan Spirea in the 17th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. A collision led to Liberty FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Valeriu Dijmărescu hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Anton Negru put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ernest Bondrea. Răzvan Spirea struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Bogdan Teodor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liberty FC. Răzvan Spirea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bogdan Teodor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After 31 played minutes FC Baia Mare got a freekick which was hit by Mihail Răchitan. Ernest Bondrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Negru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Liberty FC booed when FC Baia Mare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Măgurean didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Manuel Baciu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liberty FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Baciu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manuel Baciu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 45th minute. Liberty FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Răzvan Spirea to strike the kick off in the second half. Laurențiu Mercescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernest Bondrea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laurențiu Mercescu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 54th minute Manuel Baciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Teodor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Răzvan Spirea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Teodor having to interfere. After 62 minutes of play, Liberty FC's Manuel Baciu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bogdan Teodor was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anton Negru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ernest Bondrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Liberty FC's Răzvan Spirea in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Baia Mare's goalie prevented a goal. Bogdan Teodor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Baciu in the 70th minute of play. Răzvan Spirea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute of the match Mihail Răchitan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernest Bondrea skillfully saved the ball. Anton Negru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Manuel Baciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute Răzvan Spirea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Teodor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Liberty FC's Răzvan Spirea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bogdan Teodor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Liberty FC's Manuel Baciu got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Liberty FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Baia Mare for a fine match.
