Lazio Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Codruț Zeciu. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Traian Hidiș in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octavian Manole saved S.S. Lazio Craiova from getting behind. After 25 minutes, Ivan Oproiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.S. Lazio Craiova and the Alin Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 25 played minutes S.S. Lazio Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Oproiu. With his leg Octavian Manole managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Alin Fc's Traian Hidiș fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valer Ghionea in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jack Karlsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 35 minutes, Traian Hidiș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alin Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Traian Hidiș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tudor Astafiei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Traian Hidiș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. S.S. Lazio Craiova's Octavian Manole proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save S.S. Lazio Craiova from getting a goal against them. With his leg Octavian Manole managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Alin Fc's Traian Hidiș fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valer Ghionea made a kick off. If Tudor Astafiei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Valer Ghionea came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the S.S. Lazio Craiova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valer Ghionea couldn't finish the play. Alin Fc's Jack Karlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valer Ghionea in the 63rd minute of play. Sandu Lopatnicu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Jack Karlsson made a huge save. Alin Fc's Traian Hidiș got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 72 minutes, Valer Ghionea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.S. Lazio Craiova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valer Ghionea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
