The referee ignored Cuzaplac FC's protests and gave Moise Chirea a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cuzaplac FC's Moise Chirea got a free kick in the 2nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlad Negru in the 8th minute of play forced Cuzaplac FC's goalkeeper Dinu Stănciulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cuzaplac FC's Dinu Stănciulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vlad Negru in the 21st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vlad Dărăscu got free with Dinu Stănciulescu in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vlad Dărăscus short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Dinu Stănciulescu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dinu Stănciulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vlad Dărăscu in the 26th minute of the match. Vlascenii's Avram Geambașu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionică Antipa in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute Cuzaplac FC were awarded a corner. Tiberiu Paraschivescu went to the cornerflag to take it. If Ionică Antipa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
After 56 minutes, Rareș Iosub made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Vlascenii's Avram Geambașu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ionică Antipa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Avram Geambașu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rareș Iosub's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Avram Geambașu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Remus Arșanu hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute Vlad Dărăscu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Stănciulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vlascenii's Valeriu Urduban got a free kick in the 68th minute. Cuzaplac FC were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Vlascenii's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tiberiu Paraschivescu took the corner. 71 minutes into the game, Ionică Antipa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cuzaplac FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vlascenii the free kick. The supporters of Vlascenii booed when Cuzaplac FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionică Antipa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Cuzaplac FC fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Cuzaplac FC's Rareș Iosub looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Florin Panduru's late challenge caught a Vlascenii's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florin Panduru helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vlascenii booed when Cuzaplac FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florin Panduru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dinu Stănciulescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Remus Arșanu went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vlad Negru in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dinu Stănciulescu saved Cuzaplac FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Cuzaplac FC's Moise Chirea got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 92ndth minute of the game Vlad Dărăscu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuzaplac FC's Dinu Stănciulescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dinu Stănciulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vlad Dărăscu, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Vlad Dărăscu notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Cuzaplac FC's Dinu Stănciulescu. Dinu Stănciulescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vlascenii's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
