Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Plaic's Iulian Torouţ started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Plaic's Dacian Deliman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Plaic from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the game, Iulian Torouţ cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Dacian Deliman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Nistor Chirtoacă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nistor Chirtoacă in the 14th minute of play forced Plaic's goalkeeper Nechifor Zdrobiş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alin Baștină might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nechifor Zdrobiş. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alin Baștină ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alin Baștină in the 15th minute of play forced Plaic's goalkeeper Nechifor Zdrobiş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radu Onuț lost his temper 20 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 26 minutes, Tiberiu Beligan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plaic and the Plaic players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes Plaic got a freekick which was hit by Tiberiu Beligan. A collision led to Plaic getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Iulian Torouţ hit a great ball. Costel Bratu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dacian Deliman having to make a save. Nechifor Zdrobiş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alin Baștină in the 42nd minute of the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Nistor Chirtoacă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plaic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nistor Chirtoacă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Plaic's Alin Baștină got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nistor Chirtoacă made a kick off. Alin Baștină could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Nechifor Zdrobiş made a huge save. After 55 minutes, Alin Baștină made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Plaic's Nechifor Zdrobiş tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nistor Chirtoacă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Nechifor Zdrobiş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alin Baștină got free with Nechifor Zdrobiş in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 62 played minutes Plaic got a freekick which was hit by Emilian Nișu. Nistor Chirtoacă struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Nechifor Zdrobiş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plaic. Alin Baștină could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Nechifor Zdrobiş made a huge save. Nechifor Zdrobiş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Manu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nistor Chirtoacă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Nechifor Zdrobiş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Nistor Chirtoacă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nechifor Zdrobiş was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. In the 84th minute, Nistor Chirtoacă reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nechifor Zdrobiş. The goal made the score 1-3. 88 minutes into the match, Alin Baștină had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nechifor Zdrobiş. Plaic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alin Baștină was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. In the 92nd minute Nistor Chirtoacă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nechifor Zdrobiş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Plaic's goalkeeper Nechifor Zdrobiş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alin Baștină. Costel Bratu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Plaic players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
