In the 9th minute Tudor Ionașcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Senin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, ASESOFT's Ioan Lucescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Călin Muja made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 13 played minutes ASESOFT got a freekick which was hit by Codrin Iovulescu. Tudor Ionașcu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marian Senin having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tudor Ionașcu in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marian Senin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Ionașcu in the 20th minute of play forced ASESOFT's goalkeeper Marian Senin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matei Pencu hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Marian Senin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Ionașcu in the 25th minute of play. Tudor Ionașcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st match minute, Nucet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toader Alexiu to maneuver through the defense. Iulian Cantemir took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Călin Muja. Nucet's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tudor Ionașcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Senin having to interfere. If Tudor Ionașcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Alexandru Eftimiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Muja having to interfere. Tudor Ionașcu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marian Senin came out and tried to block the shot, but Tudor Ionașcu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 52nd minute. If Tudor Ionașcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes in the game, Tudor Ionașcu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marian Senin having to interfere. After 69 minutes, Alexandru Eftimiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ASESOFT and the Nucet players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ASESOFT getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Alexandru Eftimiu hit a great ball. Tudor Ionașcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Marian Senin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ASESOFT's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Mircea Stegaru scored to the left of an out of position Marian Senin, making the score, 1-4. Călin Muja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Stafie, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Marian Senin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tudor Ionașcu's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Marian Senin stood somewhat misplaced when Mircea Stegaru came free in front of goal and shot 1-5 to the left of him in the 86 minute. Iustinian Tender kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Iulian Cantemir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ASESOFT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iulian Cantemir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
