The supporters of Delutu booed when Nucet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilian Pacuraru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petruț Obreja struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Ilie Itoafă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nucet. Ilie Itoafă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tudor Ionașcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With an all-out effort, Nucet's Ilie Itoafă threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tudor Ionașcu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Delutu's Ilie Itoafă got control of the ball when Tudor Ionașcu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ilie Itoafă didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 96th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Nucet played a much better game than Delutu and deserved their victory. The Delutu players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
