In the 23rd match minute, Cotormany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stelian Băbescu to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Alex Team MZ booed when Cotormany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vali Sfetcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cotormany's Iurie Burghelea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akis Symeonatos in the 35th minute of play. Vali Sfetcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Costin Măgură had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vali Sfetcu to strike the kick off in the second half. Afonsinho Mangueira charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afonsinho Mangueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Alex Team MZ getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Afonsinho Mangueira hit a great ball. Iurie Burghelea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akis Symeonatos in the 61st minute of play. Iurie Burghelea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akis Symeonatos in the 62nd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Afonsinho Mangueira notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cotormany's Iurie Burghelea. Iurie Burghelea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 72nd minute Akis Symeonatos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iurie Burghelea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusebiu Giubelean hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th match minute, Cotormany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Nisipeanu to maneuver through the defense. Iurie Burghelea made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Afonsinho Mangueira sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute Akis Symeonatos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iurie Burghelea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Cotormany's goalkeeper Iurie Burghelea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonsinho Mangueira. The supporters of Cotormany booed when Alex Team MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ioan Mergea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iurie Burghelea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afonsinho Mangueira in the 92nd minute. Alex Team MZ played a much better game than Cotormany and deserved their victory. The Cotormany players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
