Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) BSC Young Boys's Mircea Maghiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Sfetcu in the 8th minute of play. Costin Măgură took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mircea Maghiar. Mircea Maghiar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Mircea Maghiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costin Măgură in the 15th minute of play. Felix Musta hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, BSC Young Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Vali Sfetcu came free, but Mircea Maghiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marian Turdeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 21 minutes, Valeriu Brănet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cotormany and the BSC Young Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valeriu Brănet kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Turdeanu in the 24th minute of play forced Cotormany's goalkeeper Iurie Burghelea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vlad Baștină in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iurie Burghelea saved Cotormany from getting behind. Vlad Baștină in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Iurie Burghelea, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. BSC Young Boys's Marian Turdeanu got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, BSC Young Boys's Marian Turdeanu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vali Sfetcu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vali Sfetcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Mircea Maghiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cotormany's Iurie Burghelea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Turdeanu in the 60th minute of play. In the 66th minute Vali Sfetcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mircea Maghiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Vali Sfetcu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mircea Maghiar, passed just outside the right post. Costin Măgură blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mircea Maghiar having to make a save. 74 minutes into the match, BSC Young Boys's goalkeeper Mircea Maghiar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costin Măgură. 76 minutes into the game, Gigel Asachi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BSC Young Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cotormany the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of BSC Young Boys:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cotormany:s goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 82 minutes into the game, when Stelian Băbescu put in a rough tackle. 90 minutes into the match, Cotormany's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Turdeanu came free, but Iurie Burghelea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iurie Burghelea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marian Turdeanu's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Marian Turdeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Costin Măgură managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cotormany's supporters rose to their feet, but Costin Măgură was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mircea Maghiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 99thth minute of the game Vlad Baștină who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cotormany's Iurie Burghelea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Cotormany players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented BSC Young Boys from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
