If Gheorghe Stana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Benga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petruț Ilica charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petruț Ilica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Savirsin getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Petruț Ilica hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Savirsin's zone, Emanuel Benga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavian Covaliu came out of the goal and Emanuel Benga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Savirsin's goalkeeper Octavian Covaliu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gavril Mitrea kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Savirsin's Gheorghe Stana got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Horaţiu Vochin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC MEDVE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 24 played minutes Savirsin got a freekick which was hit by Petruț Ilica. Pompiliu Niculcea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Octavian Covaliu. Savirsin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 27th minute Emanuel Benga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Covaliu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Adam Muslea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Octavian Covaliu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horaţiu Vochin, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horaţiu Vochin in the 45th minute of play forced Savirsin's goalkeeper Octavian Covaliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gheorghe Stana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gheorghe Stana was the one to do the kick off. Virgil Ioanițiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Octavian Covaliu made a huge save. Horaţiu Vochin struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Octavian Covaliu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC MEDVE. FC MEDVE's Emanuel Benga got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Savirsin fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Savirsin's Gheorghe Stana looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Savirsin's Ştefan Costescu got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Ştefan Costescu off the ground. In the 80th minute, Ştefan Costescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC MEDVE had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
