Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Giroc All StarS's zone, Dacian Greavu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liviu Mugur came out of the goal and Dacian Greavu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th match minute, ASU Politehnica Timisoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viorel Chelbea to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Nistor Băsescu from long distance, 7 minutes into the match, got Iacob Bârsescu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 7th minute, Viorel Gârdan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dacian Greavu took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Liviu Mugur. Liviu Mugur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the game, ASU Politehnica Timisoara's Dacian Greavu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Liviu Mugur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Iacob Bârsescu was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Mădălin Pencu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mădălin Pencu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Dacian Greavu struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Liviu Mugur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASU Politehnica Timisoara. Liviu Mugur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cosmin Tofan's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Cosmin Tofan put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Liviu Mugur. In the 28th minute Cosmin Tofan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liviu Mugur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Giroc All StarS's Eliodor Gheorghiță got a free kick in the 29th minute. Mădălin Pencu hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Eliodor Gheorghiță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liviu Mugur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Rareș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Leontin Luncaniță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Cosmin Tofan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Liviu Mugur was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. A collision led to Giroc All StarS getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Mădălin Pencu hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cosmin Tofan to strike the kick off in the second half. Liviu Mugur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cosmin Tofan's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Giroc All StarS's goalkeeper Liviu Mugur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 65th match minute, Giroc All StarS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Filipașcu to maneuver through the defense. Petruț Busuioc missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 66 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Liviu Mugur right hand side. Dacian Greavu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Liviu Mugur firmly grabbed it by the left post. Liviu Mugur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leontin Luncaniță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of ASU Politehnica Timisoara booed when Giroc All StarS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcu Cismarescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76thth minute of the game Cosmin Tofan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Giroc All StarS's Liviu Mugur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Dacian Greavu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cosmin Tofan during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cosmin Tofan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Liviu Mugur made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Gârdan in the 87th minute of play forced Giroc All StarS's goalkeeper Liviu Mugur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Cosmin Tofan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Liviu Mugur was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Costel Hurezeanu took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iacob Bârsescu. Iacob Bârsescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. In the 93rd minute, Leontin Luncaniță fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. ASU Politehnica Timisoara's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
