Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Aurel Sbârcea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Moise Bălace's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. In the 7th minute, Nichifor Ciolac got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andrei Moșanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aurel Sbârcea. Berca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 9 played minutes Berca got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Pelin. Cătălin Timaru kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Aurel Sbârcea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moise Bălace, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Cătălin Timaru charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cătălin Timaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Berca got a freekick which was hit by Cătălin Timaru. In the 15th minute of the match Nicolae Gorjanu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aurel Sbârcea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moise Bălace in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurel Sbârcea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the match, Varati FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cătălin Timaru came free, but Marin Minulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Berca's zone, Sandu Tadici stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurel Sbârcea came out of the goal and Sandu Tadici tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th match minute, Berca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cătălin Timaru to maneuver through the defense. Marin Minulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Ciolac, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Grigore Ciulei hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Berca's goalkeeper Aurel Sbârcea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandu Tadici. After a rather tough play, Berca's Grigore Ciulei got a free kick in the 34th minute. Moise Bălace recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Berca getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Cătălin Timaru hit a great ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Moise Bălace managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Varati FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moise Bălace was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th match minute, Berca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Necșulescu to maneuver through the defense. Moise Bălace might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurel Sbârcea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moise Bălace ran back to his position shaking his head. Sandu Tadici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurel Sbârcea having to interfere. Aurel Sbârcea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moise Bălace in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moise Bălace stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Adrian Chiriacescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Moise Bălace came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Varati FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moise Bălace couldn't finish the play. After 59 minutes of play Berca's Grigore Ciulei was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 60th minute, Grigore Ciulei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Sandu Tadici had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurel Sbârcea. Berca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandu Tadici was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Varati FC's Sandu Tadici got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sandu Tadici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86th minute Sandu Tadici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurel Sbârcea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandu Tadici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurel Sbârcea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moise Bălace, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sandu Tadici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98th minute, Aurelian Pacuraru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Berca players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Varati FC.
