The audience thought a goal was coming when Leontin Flamaropol got free with Robert Murgan in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leontin Flamaropol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Murgan having to interfere. Costel Cîrțu charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Costel Cîrțu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Costel Cîrțu kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Mugurel Macarie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Children of God's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ordoreanul the free kick. A collision led to Children of God getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Mugurel Macarie hit a great ball. In the 9th minute of the match Radu Doloman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robert Murgan skillfully saved the ball. Valer Crivoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Copil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leontin Flamaropol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ordoreanul's Mugurel Gherguț in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Leontin Flamaropol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Robert Murgan made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Mugurel Gherguț made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Ordoreanul got a freekick which was hit by Victor Enoiu. Petrică Cutean might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valer Crivoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petrică Cutean ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 56 minutes, Leontin Flamaropol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ordoreanul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leontin Flamaropol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ordoreanul's Valer Crivoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Ordoreanul from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Ordoreanul's Horia Mândrilă got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 68 minutes into the game, one of Children of God:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Robert Murgan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leontin Flamaropol went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugurel Gherguț in the 85th minute of play forced Children of God's goalkeeper Robert Murgan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mugurel Macarie was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 86th minute, Mugurel Macarie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Murgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leontin Flamaropol in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Children of God's Costel Cîrțu got a free kick in the 88th minute. Robert Murgan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leontin Flamaropol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Murgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugurel Gherguț in the 91st minute of the match. David Copil kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match.
