An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Gheție in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Revarsarea Sulina's goalkeeper Costică Udurbac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costică Udurbac stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gheorghe Boerescu's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After some careless play in the FC Revarsarea Sulina defense, Dan Gheție kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Costică Udurbac. The FC Revarsarea Sulina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Costică Udurbac should have stopped the shot. Costică Udurbac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Boerescu in the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, FC Revarsarea Sulina's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Boerescu came free, but Costică Udurbac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Mugurel Ionescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Revarsarea Sulina's supporters rose to their feet, but Mugurel Ionescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iacob Răduța breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martin Moiș scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Costică Udurbac, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, FC Revarsarea Sulina's Gigi Miclescu got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vasile Avram got free with Costică Udurbac in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Costică Udurbac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Boerescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Iacob Răduța took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valeriu Huțanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 minutes, Vasile Avram mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brestea and the FC Revarsarea Sulina players grew even worse after the yellow card. But to his dismay, Mugurel Ionescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Mugurel Ionescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the match, FC Revarsarea Sulina's Mugurel Ionescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iacob Răduța narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mugurel Ionescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Iacob Răduța tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mugurel Ionescu's late challenge caught a Brestea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Marius Măgureanu fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brestea's protests and gave Marius Măgureanu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Brestea's Marius Măgureanu got a free kick in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the match, Gigi Miclescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iacob Răduța. Brestea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gigi Miclescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3.
