Nicu Baldovin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 25 minutes into the game, Horia Demian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barateaz UFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dragoiasa the free kick. In the 25th minute, Horia Demian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Flavius Lunca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Narcis Bojin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dragoiasa's supporters rose to their feet, but Narcis Bojin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristide Paraschiv breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th match minute, Barateaz UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horia Demian to maneuver through the defense. Aristide Paraschiv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavril Ştef, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Flavius Bosioc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicu Baldovin having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Barateaz UFC got a freekick which was hit by Mugurel Albeanu. In the 44th minute Narcis Bojin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristide Paraschiv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Narcis Bojin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
