Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sustorog's Victor Harnagea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Florin Halipa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Cosmin Iulian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Maldaeni CSS's goalkeeper Cosmin Iulian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florin Halipa. Dorel Mustățea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihnea Vlas in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Mihnea Vlas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sustorog's Dorel Mustățea. Dorel Mustățea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Trandafir in the 16th minute of play forced Sustorog's goalkeeper Dorel Mustățea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Victor Harnagea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosmin Iulian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dorel Mustățea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiberiu Trandafir, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 24th match minute, Maldaeni CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ştefan Frățilă to maneuver through the defense. Florin Halipa might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cosmin Iulian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florin Halipa ran back to his position shaking his head. Victor Harnagea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Cosmin Iulian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Harnagea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosmin Iulian having to interfere. Cosmin Iulian was a little too slow when Florin Halipa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 40th minute, Ştefan Frățilă made a precise shot to the right of Dorel Mustățea. Sustorog's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Harnagea in the 43rd minute of play forced Maldaeni CSS's goalkeeper Cosmin Iulian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 played minutes Maldaeni CSS got a freekick which was hit by Tiberiu Trandafir. Cosmin Iulian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionel Dragoș in the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Ionică Hoisie made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Sustorog's Dorel Mustățea got control of the ball when Mihnea Vlas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cosmin Iulian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Harnagea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionică Hoisie in the 56th minute of play forced Sustorog's goalkeeper Dorel Mustățea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Florin Halipa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cosmin Iulian was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. In the 62nd minute, Ionel Dragoș got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ionel Dragoș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosmin Iulian having to interfere. If Florin Halipa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Victor Harnagea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sustorog's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Harnagea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosmin Iulian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maldaeni CSS's Cosmin Iulian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florin Halipa in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Florin Halipa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cosmin Iulian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florin Halipa in the 79th minute of play. Cosmin Iulian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Harnagea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Tiberiu Trandafir reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dorel Mustățea. The goal made the score 2-4. Cosmin Iulian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Harnagea in the 84th minute of the match. Victor Harnagea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosmin Iulian having to interfere. Florin Halipa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosmin Iulian having to interfere. Dorel Mustățea was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Ştefan Frățilă capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ştefan Frățilă really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. Sustorog's Dorel Mustățea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Sustorog from getting a goal against them. The Sustorog manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Maldaeni CSS to win.
