Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. George Alexandru started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Alexandru in the 4th minute of play forced Sustorog's goalkeeper Dorel Mustățea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 4 played minutes Sustorog got a freekick which was hit by Radu Răuțu. Iustin Macarie scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dorel Mustățea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Florin Halipa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Mugur Lucescu made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Ionel Dragoș managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sustorog's supporters rose to their feet, but Ionel Dragoș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mugur Lucescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mugur Lucescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Harnagea in the 23rd minute of the match. Sustorog's Dorel Mustățea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Alexandru in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by George Alexandru during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Florin Halipa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Harnagea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugur Lucescu having to interfere. Dorel Mustățea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustin Macarie, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute, Iustin Macarie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mugur Lucescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florin Halipa in the 46th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
54 minutes into the match, Sustorog's Ionel Dragoș sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mugur Lucescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 60 minutes into the game, Robert Bociort was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sustorog's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nevesteasca the free kick. 61 minutes into the match, Sustorog's goal looked a bit too open when George Alexandru came free, but Dorel Mustățea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Harnagea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 68th minute, Vali Blăniță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Harnagea might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mugur Lucescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Harnagea ran back to his position shaking his head. 72 minutes into the match, Nevesteasca's goal looked a bit too open when Florin Halipa came free, but Mugur Lucescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ionel Dragoș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Nevesteasca's George Alexandru slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dorel Mustățea. That made the score 2-2 after 77 minutes of play. Florin Halipa took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mugur Lucescu. Mugur Lucescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Mugur Lucescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Harnagea's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, Florin Halipa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sustorog's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florin Halipa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Constantin Bianu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 96th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Nevesteasca's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
