Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Flavius Mihoc started the match with the kick off. Marcu Drăgan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dan Rogoz's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. After 13 played minutes Dan Rogoz could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-0 into the left cross. In the 16th minute, Rocket FC's Nicolae Şerb seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nicolae Şerb the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rocket FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nicolae Şerb had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rocket FC! Petrică Andronescu shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 20th match minute, Rocket FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nae Mihele to maneuver through the defense. Sandu Bîlbă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Savu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Fabian Banica hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Marcu Drăgan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Rogoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Dan Rogoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcu Drăgan having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Cacova's Dan Rogoz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcu Drăgan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Narcis Găvan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd minute of the match, Mugurel Hirean tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sandu Bîlbă saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 54 minutes into the match, Rocket FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Rogoz came free, but Marcu Drăgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cacova booed when Rocket FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avram Timofte didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavius Mihoc in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcu Drăgan saved Rocket FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Adrian Savu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rocket FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Savu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandu Bîlbă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute, Flavius Mihoc left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cacova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 73rd minute Dan Rogoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcu Drăgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcu Drăgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavius Mihoc in the 77th minute of play. After 77 minutes of play, Cacova's Flavius Mihoc made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcu Drăgan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Flavius Mihoc struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Marcu Drăgan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cacova. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Savu in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sandu Bîlbă saved Cacova from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Cacova players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
