Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cazimir Albescu kicked off to start the match. After 4 minutes, Nae Mustea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FANSTE and the Bata players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FANSTE's Nae Mustea got a free kick in the 4th minute. Vasile Moisescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorin Iftode having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Vasile Moisescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dorin Iftode. FANSTE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vasile Moisescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Tudor Țâpu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nae Mustea in the 19th minute of the match. Bata:s Tudor Țâpu showed great skill when he stopped Dinu Luncanu:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petre Baltian in the 44th minute of play forced Bata's goalkeeper Tudor Țâpu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes FANSTE got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Cozaru. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
