Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dragoş Elenescu made the kick off and thus started the match. Narcis Murgescu made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Dorin Buzescu sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radu Roşoga got free with Narcis Murgescu in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Zbughină received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Octav Manciulea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Radu Roşoga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Narcis Murgescu. Radu Roşoga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With a little luck, Basil's Narcis Murgescu got control of the ball when Radu Roşoga tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Laurențiu Finteșteanu came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Sohodolu CSS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurențiu Finteșteanu couldn't finish the play. Basil were furious when Dinu Opaina was red carded, 21 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Basil! In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for Sohodolu CSS. Aurel Bărbat stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Narcis Murgescu. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dragoş Elenescu in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octav Manciulea saved Sohodolu CSS from getting behind. After having played for 37 minutes, Dragoş Elenescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Basil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dragoş Elenescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Basil's Narcis Murgescu got control of the ball when Claudiu Trifu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Octav Manciulea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dragoş Elenescu's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After 42nd play minutes Dragoş Elenescu shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Octav Manciulea and just under the crossbar into goal. If Dragoş Elenescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Claudiu Trifu made the kick off in the second half. Claudiu Trifu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Trifu in the 59th minute of play forced Basil's goalkeeper Narcis Murgescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rareș Isărescu kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After having played for 60 minutes, Radu Roşoga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sohodolu CSS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radu Roşoga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 62 played minutes Basil got a freekick which was hit by Costin Nițisor. Narcis Murgescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Bărbat in the 63rd minute of play. After 69 played minutes Basil got a freekick which was hit by Avram Tărbac. Narcis Murgescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurențiu Finteșteanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sohodolu CSS's Claudiu Trifu in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Basil's goalie prevented a goal. Narcis Murgescu came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Sohodolu CSS's Radu Roşoga. But to his dismay, Radu Roşoga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 81 minutes into the game, Sohodolu CSS's Ştefan Grindeanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Narcis Murgescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Dragoş Elenescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Octav Manciulea came out and tried to block the shot, but Dragoş Elenescu slotted it home off the left post making it 4-3 in the 92nd minute. In the 96th minute, Ştefan Grindeanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sohodolu CSS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. Sohodolu CSS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Basil for a fine match.
