Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lucian Honcioiu made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, Comanacu's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Şumălan came free, but Eusebiu Otopeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucian Honcioiu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Daniel Sterescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ion Amărculesei hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sabin Miulescu during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zelau's Sabin Miulescu got a free kick in the 19th minute. Zelau's Daniel Sterescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliodor Mitrea in the 21st minute of play. Eusebiu Otopeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Calini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sandu Postolache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Eusebiu Otopeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Zelau getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Sabin Miulescu hit a great ball. Eliodor Mitrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Sterescu having to interfere. Lucian Honcioiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 36 minutes, Eduard Şumălan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zelau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduard Şumălan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sabin Miulescu was shown his second yellow card after 37 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 38 played minutes Zelau got a freekick which was hit by Sabin Miulescu. In the 43rd minute, Lucian Honcioiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Comanacu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Horia Gruescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebiu Otopeanu having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
After having played for 59 minutes, Horia Gruescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zelau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horia Gruescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Eduard Şumălan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zelau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Eduard Şumălan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eusebiu Otopeanu. That made the score 1-2 in the 66 minute of play. After 70 played minutes Comanacu got a freekick which was hit by Lucian Honcioiu. Horia Gruescu took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eusebiu Otopeanu. Eusebiu Otopeanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 75th match minute, Comanacu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gelu Mârza to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Gelu Mârza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduard Şumălan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Eusebiu Otopeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Comanacu's Eusebiu Otopeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horia Gruescu in the 86th minute of play. Horia Gruescu's late challenge caught a Comanacu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horia Gruescu helped the player get up and apologised. After 87 played minutes Zelau got a freekick which was hit by Horia Gruescu. Eusebiu Otopeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horia Gruescu in the 91st minute of the match.
