If Rareș Magheru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rareș Magheru struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Aron Epure didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Babarunca. Aron Epure took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iordache Zăreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Aron Rânceanu made a precise shot to the right of Petre Bouleanu. Babarunca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Lițu in the 36th minute of play forced Babarunca's goalkeeper Petre Bouleanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Sergiu Lițu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Petre Bouleanu, passed just outside the right post. Sergiu Lițu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rareș Magheru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sergiu Lițu to make the kick off. If Romeo Aluculesei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petre Bouleanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Lițu in the 60th minute of the match. Sinisor CS's Aron Epure proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Sinisor CS from getting a goal against them. Rareș Magheru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Aron Epure tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Iordache Zăreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Epure saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 79 minutes, Iordache Zăreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Babarunca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iordache Zăreanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iordache Zăreanu let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 80th minute shot 1-3 at rihgt post. Aron Rânceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Sergiu Lițu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sinisor CS's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergiu Lițu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petre Bouleanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Sergiu Lițu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 94th minute, Marin Ghimpu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 played minutes, Babarunca's Lucian Oravițan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aron Epure came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Babarunca reached it. Iordache Zăreanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aron Epure read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Babarunca eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
