Cristinel Buda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iordache Zăreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Bântu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sarafinesti's Codrin Iovan got a free kick in the 9th minute. Rareș Magheru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Andrei Bântu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rareș Magheru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Bântu having to interfere. Petre Bouleanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Patriciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emilian Vădan kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Rareș Magherus short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Andrei Bântu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 19th minute, Iordache Zăreanu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sarafinesti's goalkeeper Andrei Bântu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Costel Patriciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Bouleanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Costel Patriciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Babarunca's Petre Bouleanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristinel Buda in the 27th minute of play. Rareș Magheru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Andrei Bântu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Iordache Zăreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Babarunca's supporters rose to their feet, but Iordache Zăreanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrei Bântu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rareș Magheru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Babarunca booed when Sarafinesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudiu Tiţe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrei Bântu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rareș Magheru in the 39th minute. Cezar Necșulescu hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Andrei Bântu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lucian Oravițan. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristinel Buda was the one to do the kick off. Pavel Pădure hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iordache Zăreanu in the 61st minute of play forced Sarafinesti's goalkeeper Andrei Bântu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrei Bântu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iordache Zăreanu's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Petre Bouleanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristinel Buda in the 69th minute of play. In the 73rdth minute of the game Rareș Magheru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sarafinesti's Andrei Bântu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Iordache Zăreanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrei Bântu was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Andrei Bântu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rareș Magheru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Sarafinesti's goal looked a bit too open when Iordache Zăreanu came free, but Andrei Bântu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrei Bântu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iordache Zăreanu in the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to Babarunca getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Romeo Aluculesei hit a great ball. Toader Papadima kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Lucian Oravițan didn't quite understand what happened when in the 96 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
