Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) FCSB's Sorin Pârlog started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to FCSB getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Șerban Sucigan hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sorin Pârlog in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gică Orghidan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Toader Panin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Amurăriței in the 11th minute of the match. Toader Panin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mihai Rădescu in the 25th minute. The supporters of Hagiomer booed when FCSB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radu Hurmuzescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Sorin Pârlog got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gică Orghidan came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by FCSB's Sorin Pârlog. But to his dismay, Sorin Pârlog quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Sorin Pârlog sped through Hagiomer's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gică Orghidan. A collision led to Hagiomer getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Marius Drăghici hit a great ball. Felix Amurăriței fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toader Panin having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Mihai Rădescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toader Panin. FCSB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mihai Rădescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Amurăriței made a kick off. Manole Sticlaru hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute Felix Amurăriței shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toader Panin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nichifor Enescu kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Sorin Pârlog struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Gică Orghidan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FCSB. When Sorin Pârlog fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FCSB's protests and gave Sorin Pârlog a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FCSB getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Sorin Pârlog hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Sorin Pârlog managed to get in a good position for a shot. FCSB's supporters rose to their feet, but Sorin Pârlog was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gică Orghidan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th match minute, Hagiomer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marius Drăghici to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Hagiomer's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sorin Pârlog fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sorin Pârlog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Gică Orghidan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 83 minutes, Sorin Pârlog managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FCSB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sorin Pârlog was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felix Amurăriței sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FCSB's Radu Hurmuzescu got a free kick in the 86th minute. The supporters of Hagiomer booed when FCSB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Șerban Sucigan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Amurăriței scored 2-2 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toader Panin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
