Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Maxim Andrițoiu kicked off to start the match. Dan Muja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Boroș having to interfere. Bogdan Boroș made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Dan Muja sent off a good shot on target. 6 minutes into the match, Moise Dascălu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paul Zglimbea. STEAUA BUCUREȘTI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moise Dascălu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Maxim Andrițoiu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 11th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Bogdan Boroș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Muja in the 13th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maxim Andrițoiu got free with Bogdan Boroș in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 18 minutes of play, STEAUA BUCUREȘTI's Dan Muja made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bogdan Boroș was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adam Agârbiceanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paul Zglimbea. STEAUA BUCUREȘTI's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dan Muja who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Bogdan Boroș when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bogdan Boroș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxim Andrițoiu in the 28th minute of the match. Paul Zglimbea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Moise Dascălu's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Bogdan Boroș came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by STEAUA BUCUREȘTI's Dan Muja. But to his dismay, Dan Muja quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alin Gavra during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dan Muja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Maxim Andrițoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. STEAUA BUCUREȘTI's supporters rose to their feet, but Maxim Andrițoiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bogdan Boroș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the STEAUA BUCUREȘTI defense, Moise Dascălu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paul Zglimbea. The STEAUA BUCUREȘTI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul Zglimbea should have stopped the shot.

Maxim Andrițoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Bogdan Boroș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Moise Dascălu notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of STEAUA BUCUREȘTI's Paul Zglimbea. Paul Zglimbea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mugur Semeghin hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Moise Dascălu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paul Zglimbea. The goal made the score 2-4. STEAUA BUCUREȘTI's Dan Muja got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moise Dascălu might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paul Zglimbea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moise Dascălu ran back to his position shaking his head. STEAUA BUCUREȘTI's Paul Zglimbea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save STEAUA BUCUREȘTI from getting a goal against them. Ivan Panciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Zglimbea having to interfere. Moise Dascălu struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Paul Zglimbea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Brasov.
