Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Toader Hâncu made the kick off and thus started the match. Fabian Cârstoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Bucuță in the 5th minute of the match. Luminis's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Doru Arvinte scored to the left of an out of position Fabian Cârstoiu, making the score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudiu Frânculescu during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pogonestii CS! Adam Ostoici had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Sandu Timofte's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 24th minute, Sandu Timofte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Luminis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Leonard Bucuță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Fabian Cârstoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liviu Şiman kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Bucuță in the 33rd minute of play forced Luminis's goalkeeper Fabian Cârstoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Liviu Şiman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luminis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pogonestii CS the free kick. Claudiu Cioculescu kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Ştefan Bărbuceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Ostoici having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, Pogonestii CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Lechințan to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Ştefan Bărbuceanu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Costel Brădescu kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Liviu Şiman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st match minute, Pogonestii CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Lechințan to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Luminis's Ştefan Bărbuceanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adam Ostoici narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leonard Bucuță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Fabian Cârstoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Luminis's Ştefan Bărbuceanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adam Ostoici made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After a rather tough play, Pogonestii CS's Panait Țepeluș got a free kick in the 78th minute. Sandu Timofte hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 87 played minutes Pogonestii CS got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Trăilă. Doru Arvinte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Pogonestii CS booed when Luminis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilie Dorlea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Leonard Bucuță managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pogonestii CS's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonard Bucuță was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Cârstoiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabian Chiriac hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Luminis supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Luminis would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
