Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leonard Bucuță took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Sparta do Prague FC booed when Pogonestii CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sever Buzoianu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4thth minute of the game Ioan Chiriță who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pogonestii CS's Adam Ostoici was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Purcaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Adam Ostoici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Pogonestii CS booed when Sparta do Prague FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Vrejiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Sparta do Prague FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Bucuță came free, but Traian Zeciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Pogonestii CS getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Gelu Trăilă hit a great ball. After 24 played minutes Sparta do Prague FC got a freekick which was hit by Mihăiţă Spirache. Adam Ostoici came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Sparta do Prague FC's Daniel Purcaru. But to his dismay, Daniel Purcaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Adam Ostoici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Purcaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Cioculescu in the 37th minute of play forced Sparta do Prague FC's goalkeeper Traian Zeciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Daniel Purcaru made the kick off in the second half. When Daniel Purcaru came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Sparta do Prague FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Purcaru couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Purcaru in the 60th minute of play forced Pogonestii CS's goalkeeper Adam Ostoici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute of the game Gelu Trăilă made a throw-in which Leonard Bucuță played forward. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonard Bucuță in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Traian Zeciu saved Sparta do Prague FC from getting behind. Niculae Negru's late challenge caught a Pogonestii CS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niculae Negru helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th match minute, Sparta do Prague FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niculae Negru to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th match minute, Sparta do Prague FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihăiţă Spirache to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Mihăiţă Spirache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Doru Arvinte struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Traian Zeciu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pogonestii CS. After having played for 80 minutes, Doru Arvinte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pogonestii CS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doru Arvinte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pogonestii CS's Cristinel Hârțan suffered a concussion after 83 minutes and had to leave the field. 83 minutes into the game, Codrin Zgondea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sparta do Prague FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pogonestii CS the free kick. Pogonestii CS's Ionuț Romanescu was substituted for Cristinel Hârțan. After a rather tough play, Sparta do Prague FC's Codrin Zgondea got a free kick in the 84th minute. Daniel Purcaru might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adam Ostoici. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Purcaru ran back to his position shaking his head. Adam Ostoici made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Daniel Purcaru sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes into the match, Sparta do Prague FC's Daniel Purcaru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adam Ostoici narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
